At 03 PM our driver will come and pick you up from the hotel/homestay in Fort Kochi/Ernakulam City. Drive to the backwater Village called Murinjapuzha, which belongs to Vaikom Municipality (1 to 1.5 hours drive). Board a non-mechanized, eco-friendly boat and cruise through the Vembanad Lake. This local village is very tranquil and beautiful. The voyage through Vembanad backwater lets you see up close the local fishing life. With friendly chat and simple settings, make it special and memorable.

This relaxed Voyage soothen your mind and refreshes your body. At 6:30 PM depart to the Lord Shiva Temple (15-minute drive). Vaikom Mahadeva Temple is one of the largest and most ancient temples in Kerala. The architecture of the temple is typical traditional Nalukettu style embedded with intricate paintings and carvings. After the temple visit, proceed to Orchid Villa Homestay. This is a homestay run by a local family, where we have arranged the cooking demonstration and dinner. Watch blissfully the cooking recipes and cooking demonstrations done by the homemaker Mrs. Yamuna. Enjoy the dinner and depart to Cochin. Blending and bringing home the flavors that carry Kerala’s warmth to your kitchen.
